I’m Hussein Makke a Lebanese-Filipino photographer based in Côte d’Ivoire. My family moved shortly after my birth to Côte d’Ivoire where I am currently living. I studied Cinema at the Lebanese Academy of Fine-Arts, where I developed my skills and vision in photography by exploring the world of motion pictures.

Due to my mixed culture, identity, human nature and self-knowledge plays a big part in my personal work.

On the commercial side, I have worked for several organization such as Fairtrade International, PUR Projet, Fondation Follerreau and corporation such as Barrick Gold, Africa Gold, Foxtrot, The West Factory... That made me gain a lot of experience by traveling and meeting new culture and new people.
